Energy Bowl

Case Competition Energy Bowl is a multidisciplinary competition focused on implementing solutions to today’s global energy industry. The competition exposes students to current challenges and aims to foster relationships between university students in business, engineering, and geosciences. The competition also helps showcase the creative and innovative thinking young professionals and provide a place for them to start becoming the future of energy solutions.

Engineering Competition

This time-limited event challenges participants, often students, to collaborate in their efforts to solve energy-related challenges. With a focus on data analytics and visualization or coding applications, participants work intensively to develop innovative solutions, whether it’s creating apps, designing systems, or conceptualizing ideas to address energy-related problems. These events foster creativity, skill development, and collaboration, and cumulate in presentations, of projects to judges for potential recognition or awards.

Theme

For this year’s conference, we wanted to bring together different perspectives on the future of the energy industry and help provide students with a path into the industry. Our theme this year is focused on the different paths a student can take in the energy industry, such as environmental change, technical services, operations and maintenance, and research and development. We aim to promote different paths that will give students an opportunity to look at the energy industry from a different view point and insert themselves into the industry to become the next industry professionals. Hence our theme will be your place in tomorrow’s energy.
